CBT D

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression (CBT D)

Standard Treatment Length: Twelve 60 minute sessions

The goal of CBT for Depression is to challenge and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors that are maintaining depression.  CBT for Depression is designed to provide you with tools and techniques to make lasting changes to the way you think and act which in turn will impact how you feel.

You learn to challenge thoughts that are contributing to depression to develop a more balanced and helpful way of thinking. Additionally, you will work with your therapist to improve both basic self-care skills, like exercise and eating a balanced diet, as well as incorporate   activities that bring you joy and fulfillment into your routine. Together, these techniques will help you develop new habits of thinking and behaving to overcome depression.
