STAIR

Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR)

Standard Treatment Length: Twelve 60 minute sessions

The goals of STAIR are to develop healthy emotional coping skills and maintain positive, healthy relationships. This treatment was specifically developed for survivors of trauma and targets common challenges faced by these individuals. The first half of treatment is  focused on emotion regulation skills and the second half is focused on skills to develop healthy relationships. Treatment does not directly address the trauma event(s) however it can help build a strong foundation for trauma focused treatment if it is needed following completion of STAIR.
